Ross Weijer

Data Scientist

Ross is a music theorist turned economic researcher turned data scientist at Datascope Analytics. After working for a bit in commercial real estate, Ross decided that an undergraduate stint at the University of Chicago just wasn't enough and went back for a master's degree in analytics. In doing so, he reconnected with his quantitative side and became interested in exploring, illustrating, and solving a wide variety of problems with data. Aside from making computers do his dirty work for him, Ross enjoys improving the mechanics of his left hook, playing trumpet, piano, and guitar to varying degrees of proficiency, and spending quality time with his family, both human and feline.
