Juan-Pablo Velez is a data scientist at Datascope Analytics. He’s fascinated by design, data analysis, and the intersection of cities, government, and technology. Before switching to tech, Juan worked as a journalist for the now-defunct Chicago News Cooperative, covering Chicago for the New York Times. Juan received a BA in Sociology from the University of Chicago.
